Intricacies

As an artist, I find myself profoundly moved by the beauty and intricate details of natural forms. Gazing at the world around me, I am struck by the effortlessness with which everything seems to be accomplished. Nature is an endless source of wonder and inspiration for me, and it is my earnest desire to capture its essence in my artwork.

My paintings are heavily influenced by organic and naturally occurring forms and patterns. I believe aesthetics and craftsmanship are integral aspects of any artwork, and I endeavour to create exquisite and skillfully executed pieces. Moreover, I like to incorporate religious symbolism into some of my works, drawing upon the rich traditions of spirituality and faith that have shaped our world.

One of the materials I love working with is paper. I am drawn to its versatility and distinctive textures, and I have developed a special technique for working with ink on paper.

By layering multiple sheets of paper, I create a sense of depth and dimensionality, using organic shapes and intricate details to animate my compositions. Each detail is painstakingly crafted, reflecting my dedication to both perfection and imperfection in the art.

In the process of creating my pieces, I construct three to four layers of tiny, puzzle-like drawings, which I then weave into the whole composition of the painting.

This method demands considerable time and attention to detail, but as each individual piece finds its place, the artwork slowly but surely coalesces with ease, as it does in nature.

The end result is a masterful fusion of many smaller parts, each with its own identity but all in harmonious accord with the whole.
